Transfers and Sales

We’re committed to delivering exceptional customer service at every step of the firearm transfer process, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and professional experience for every customer. If you've purchased a firearm from an out-of-state dealer and need it transferred to you, we can help.

We charge a nominal fee of $25 per transfer, plus a $10 fee for the TBI Instant Check System (TICS).

With our extensive knowledge and expertise, Batten’s Gun Shop is your trusted partner to help you place and facilitate the sale of special orders, including rare and vintage firearms.

Please note:

• Special orders must be paid in advance at the time of placement. 
• We’re unable to provide returns or refunds for special order products.

Leave the consignment process to us, and we’ll help you place and resell your guns to a large dealer audience. This service includes storage and placement of firearms on gun broker internet sites (including Guns America). 

Please note:

• We charge an 18% storage and brokerage fee for consignment.
• You can retrieve your firearm at any time for a $50 handling and background check fee.
• If you do not pass the background check, the firearm cannot be returned to you.
• If you are denied the purchase of a firearm or cancel the sale, a $35 fee will apply.
• All sales are final, and no refunds are provided.
